Currently, tracking multiple recipients is only available in Apple Mail. Unfortunately, this functionality is not available on Gmail web. Other mail tracking clients, such as MixMax and MailSuite, offer this feature and can track individual recipient read receipts. This feature should be added to MB as well.

Add option to add tags to the entire email thread or multiple emails

Hello, Smallcubed, the publisher of MailTags, seems to pretend that MailKit doesn't exist and indicates that there won't be a version of its MailSuite for Sonoma. I've been using MailTags for years and I don't think I'm the only one in this situation. So I have a lot of mail from several email accounts that have keyword and Project tags and I'd like not to lose it all when I switch to Sonoma. I think Mailbutler might be a good solution, but I'd like not to retag everything by hand. What would ease the transition to Mailbutler would be an import process from MailTags tags and projects to Mailbutler tags and projects. Do you think such a process could be integrated into Mailbutler, either as part of an import menu or, possibly, via a command-line script in macOS Ventura's Terminal before the switch to Sonoma? In order for tags to be really useful you need to implement bulk tagging as a matter of urgency. Tags are great, but what about assigning them to past emails and email conversations? Surely you are not expecting users to go through their old emails one-by-one to add tags? I use email tagging already and want to migrate already tagged emails in Apple Mail (they show up as labels in Gmail). While I can select individual old emails and tag them with Mailbutler, I cannot do this with multiple emails. This seems to be a simple feature to implement, but a vital one to get your loyal Mailbutler users to really use tags!

I use smart folders quite a bit and with my previous tagging solution I was able to base a folder on tags. Since switching to MailButler this in no longer an option and it really hampers my workflow. Please could we have integration with smart folders as my number 1 priority?

I'm pleased to hear that Mailbutler is introducing tagging, especially as MailSuite have not been able to implement that functionality for Sonoma. Will the tags be in a standard format so that users can organise with Smart Folders and that they will be preserved if the e-mails are archived (I use devonthink for this)? Bill

Coming from Mailtags I like your product, but I am missing the "Tree View" of all my tagged Emails. I know at the moment it can't be implemented into the Mac Mail Favorites, but you could create a view in your window where I can see all Tags with the number of tagged emails where you can open the list of tagged emails by clicking on one tag. Or at least give an option with an "OR" selection instead of "AND" selection of tags as it is now.
