We recently made the decision to remove the sending capabilities from our mobile app. We know that some of our users are unhappy about this upcoming change. This is not a decision we’re making lightly, but rather one that we’re forced to make. The mobile app has not worked consistently for some of our users. After trying to fix these issues, we’ve come to the conclusion that we simply don’t have the capacity or manpower to maintain a mobile app with sending functions properly.
Several of you have suggested that we integrate Mailbutler directly in to the Apple Mail app on your phone. This is actually not possible, and the only alternative is to create and maintain a standalone email application, which we don’t have the resources to maintain.
Because of all of these things, we’re simplifying the mobile app so that its primary function is a companion app. You’ll receive notifications from any emails that you’ve sent with Mailbutler from your desktop. And of course, you’ll still be able to add Notes, Tasks, and Follow Up Reminders.
If you’re someone who subscribed to Mailbutler because of the mobile app, and who will be heavily impacted by this change, please direct an email to Claire at support@mailbutler.io.

I wander if Mailbutler realizes that most people and Businesses use iOS devices.

The most perfect solution would be a complete MailButler based iOS mail app with all the features.

For as far as i can tell not all emails are visible or accessible in the iOS app. Reason why this is important is that you can not add notes or tasks in, for example, emails in send emails and received mails (inbox).

Hi,
Can you explain a bit further what you are exactly missing / describing here?
Do you no longer see mails in your inbox in the Mailbutler iOS app?
Best,
Noortje

What i miss in the iOS app is the mails in the inbox. When using the iOS app it is very useful to be able to add notes and tasks to the mails in the inbox or other mailboxes.

I had hoped the Mailbutler mobile app could be my new primary email app for my iPhone but the email layout is pretty disappointing. Would love an update that included folders such as Inbox, Sent, etc. I’m seeing a list of all my emails across all folders, including Trash.
