Fabian: Thank you for your support. I tried to send an email with the word “添付” (meaning “attachment” in Japanese), however, the alert was not appeared. Is there any preferences?

We add the new keyword for Japanese!
Nakagomi Saya
Fabian: Thank you for your support. However, the reminder did not show up when I send an email with the word “添付”, without an attachment. I updated Mailbutler to the latest version before I send the mail. Do I need the other settings?
Fabian
Nakagomi Saya, this seems to be some misunderstanding here: The new Japanese keyword will be in our next release, which is planned for the first of July.
Nakagomi Saya
FabianThank you for your comment. Actually, the alert did not show up when I wrote.” my email in English. I used the word “attached”. Are there any settings for Mailbutler to use this function?
I use MacMail with MacOS 12.4.
Fabian
Nakagomi Saya, you might need to have "English" as a preferred language (with "Japanese" probably being the first in the list) in our macOS system settings.
Nakagomi Saya
Fabian: Thank you for your reply. I understand I need to change MacOS system settings not Mailbutler preference.
...I really miss attachment reminder with custom words.
Fabian
Nakagomi Saya, could you please provide a list of Japanese keywords that we can then add to our internal list of keywords?
Nakagomi Saya
Fabian: Thank you for your support. The word for "attachment" in Japanese is "添付". Is it possible to add this Japanese word to your list?
Fabian
Nakagomi Saya, is there any other related word that we should check for in Japanese?
In English, for example, we check for "attachment", "attaching", "attached", and "attach".
Nakagomi Saya
Fabian: The word "添付" can cover all "attachment", "attaching", "attached", and "attach".
In Japanese, verb conjugation is different from other languages. The word "添付” is a noun and we make this into a verb by adding the word "する", for past tense, we add "した”.
attachment=添付
attaching=添付している
attached=添付した
attach=添付する
There are other words in Japanese that mean sending attachment files, however, they have multiple usages and are not suitable for the list.
