Tracking exceptions

You may want to consider adding a “tracking-exception” list. It would be useful to have tracking on by default, but to provide some automatic preset exceptions. In particular, it would be nice to not have tracking set for mailing lists, since so many notifications can come back from them and it's not that important to know when it's been opened. Likewise, it might be good to disable tracking for those you know would object. I know this can be done manually for individual posts, but we often forget. Perhaps a tracking "blacklist" of email addresses could be put in place.

With the latest version v4609 we added the option to disable tracking on sent emails and links. Perhaps this new possibility could already benefit you.
By default, we've set the expiration time to 3 months, but you can change how long you want to have emails or links tracked from your preferences. Professional+ and Business users can disable the tracking per message. You can read all about how this works in this article: https://help.mailbutler.io/help/how-do-i-limit-how-long-my-emails-are-tracked-for

Noortje: We can already disable tracking on individual messages by clicking the icon prior to sending. What I am requesting is that I be able to have tracking enabled, but all messages that go to a particular individual, or a particular mailing list will automatically not be tracked when sent. As I stated, some people may object to having incoming messages tracked and I want to be able to adhere to their request without having to remember to manually disable tracking on each message I send to them since I will undoubtedly forget one time or more.
That is, can I construct a list of addresses, maybe using a field in my contacts list, whereby tracking is disabled for those on that list only, enabled for everybody else.
