Yes please bump this - I always say "attached" the Onboarding Form Link, "attached" this or that - even though it's most cases NOT a file - pls consider to implement

I was wondering why I kept getting the attachment reminder when I did not mention an attachment, until I found this thread. I too have a signature with a legal disclaimer that uses the word attachment. Any updates on this?

We are considering this for a future update

We also have words in our html signature for legal reasons, this popup makes us waste time.
If you don't restore this option, the question of renewal will come up very quickly...

Fabian: no please don't just disable for html signature, pls give user option enable entirely Or leave it on if they desire so

I agree with this thread! My team isre getting frustrated with this reminder popping up so often when either there doesn't need to be anything attached or there already is something attached.

I have the same issue. Using mac mail. Love to have the ability to disable this reminder!!!! I have wording in my signature that I need for legal reasons so I have to click ignore on every email. PLEASE allow this to be disabled like it used to be.
Fabian
Julian, how do you insert your signature? We can easily ignore the signature part from the attachment reminder check

Fabian: I use mac mail's signature selector. I tried extensively to use yours but it doesn't allow the same level of control.

Yes please - many emails trigger the reminder and not having the option to disable it is frustrating.
Fabian
Daniel, the reminder should not be triggered if there wasn't any keyword in your email mentioning an attachment. Could you please check whether the reminder still shows for you?

Fabian: Thanks, Fabian. The problem for me is that many of my emails have the attachment mentioned as part of the form type structure of the original email so it triggers. For example, there is an option in the form to include an attachment. This means the email I send is triggered for the reminder since it's mentioned. It's just annoying now that all of these emails trigger the warning without an option to disable the warning like we previously had.
Fabian
Daniel, are you using Mailbutler in Gmail? We could try to ignore the content of cited emails that you reply to. By this we might be able to not trigger the reminder anymore for you

Fabian: No - apple mail. It's unfortunate we can't just keep it optional. It was fine as is. IMHO, optionality is always better than not having the option.
